Buckeye 270, LLC managed a +/-270 acres located at the SEC of U.S. Highway 85 and Southern Avenue in Buckeye, Arizona and was considered a considered a Value-Add investment with generally moderate risk.

The investment strategy was to complete the annexation and master plan of the property over the next 12 months and to sell platted, but unimproved lots to homebuilders within 24 months and retain the balance of the land for up to 60 months to sell or participate in joint venture opportunities.  It was projected that the life of this investment would not extend beyond 5 years.  The Internal Rate of Return to the Investors was anticipated to exceed twenty percent (20%) per annum.  The total equity invested was $16mm.
